They help a potential client/customer effortlessly learn about your services and what you offer without having to ‘read up’ or do too much research into who you are. Videos use 3 main elements. Audio – Music/Speaking, Visuals – Cutaways, Montages/Interviews and they can also use digital graphics such as on-screen text and animations. All of these combined are the best way to give someone an idea of your companies ideals and values.

Videos can also be posted to any social media platform, meaning its reach can go beyond just posting video content on your website. Video is fast becoming the preferred way of consuming content online with 78% of people watching videos online every week and 55% every single day.

They are also easy to share with others and can be deciding factor when someone is trying to incentivize a friend or family member into joining the gym.

Take the Pressure Off. Why not introduce people to who you are and what you stand for? Having a quick video tour or explainer video will help remove any doubts a potential customer could be having about making a purchase. Also breaking down promo videos into shorter 20s-40s videos for Instagram and Facebook is a good way of reaching people who do not have a lot of time on their hands.

Focus on goals
Before you jump into your first video marketing campaign, it’s important to determine your primary video goal. Whether it be to increase brand awareness, engagement, or even conversions for a free trial/product. It’s important to focus on just one or two goals for each video. Undefined video goals lead to unfocused videos, making it difficult for potential customers to determine what they should do next. For example, if your target audience is not already aware of your company, you should focus on a video that focuses on brand awareness before producing an in-depth, product video etc. You’ll also want to host your video on a site that already has a large reach, like YouTube as well as your own website.
The bottom line is that video is the future of marketing and investing in it sooner rather than later will only benefit your company down the line.
The new Instagram algorithm doesn’t care how many likes you have or even how many people are commenting. It’s all about how many people are clicking those precious save and share buttons. So what content can you or your business create that will make people want to save or share? Think about what information your business could offer that would help your audience and create content for it! If the content is useful, people are more likely to save it for future use or share it with their followers on their stories.
